Do you relate to any of these nine common challenges facing people in business?

  • There are too many urgent and conflicting priorities.
  • There's no space to work on a new, important project so it never gets started.
  • Work activities are all consuming, leaving little time to enjoy life.
  • Business performance has hit a plateau, or profits and sales have decreased.
  • Personal performance has hit a plateau, or diminished.
  • You're having to deal with a difficult person on a regular basis, and it's causing stress and loss of productivity.
  • You're putting up with other people's behavior or poor communication habits. Instead, you do the work yourself.
  • You're ready to take your performance to the next level, and want a plan on how to do that.
  • You yearn to have an integrated life that is totally satisfying, personally and professionally.

Have you ever thought how great it would be, to have someone totally dedicated to your success? Ask any truly successful person how they became that way, and you'll hear them say there was at least one person who totally believed in them, even when they didn't believe in themselves.

"In our work together, Carly helped me identify and understand how certain inborn tendencies and external factors contribute to my behaviors, and address areas important to my personal and professional development."

The Five E's Coaching Model

What is Coaching and how does it differ from Mentoring?

Coaching is a relationship in which a coach supports, collaborates with, and facilitates their client's learning. A coach helps their client identify and achieve future goals through assessment of the current situation, and skillfully eliciting desired future results.

A coaching partnership engages the client in discovery, reflection, strategizing, planning and taking effective action. Coaching moves one to a higher order of thinking and personal presence, and to a new level of self-realization.

Mentoring is the sharing of specific expertise. A client may hire a coach for their special knowledge or experience and then discover their coach brings so much more to their partnership. This is because coaches use professionally developed coaching skills that move the client forward, not just share their expertise.

I work with private clients who are serious about taking themselves or their business to the next level. These people realize the way they are going to reach, maintain or increase success is by identifying their future result, clearing the blocks and taking consistent action to move forward. We're always considering 'who' the person needs to become, in order to achieve 'what' they want to accomplish next.

Why Coaching and Mentoring?

You can already get to wherever you're going on your own, if you have the discipline, focus, commitment and time. What if you could speed up the process? You may get ten or even twenty times the result with a coach, than you would on your own.

Coaching is not a short term fix; it's a partnership which allows you to EVOLVE and grow, not just learn new things. Coaching is for people willing to take ownership of their situation, and find out what needs to occur move forward.

Many people come to coaching because they are already very successful, yet feel they've reached a plateau. They want to learn how to make their business grow faster, put themselves in the best position to get a promotion, or be a more effective leader. Underlying this is the yearning I believe all human beings have to be happier and more fulfilled in the process of living and working.
